November 7th, led by Consul William Duff, Head of Political and Economic Section in Consulate General of the US in Shanghai, a four-member delegation visited Wanli University. Executive President Chen Juexiang met the visiting guests and held a meeting attended by some school directors and students.
First, President Chen greeted the delegation and briefed the current situation of Wanli University. He said this was an opportunity for Wanli students to know how to further study in the United States and adapt to new environment. Mr. Duff also showed appreciation to President Chen for his sincere invitation and hospitality. Then Molly Koscina and Jeffery Warner respectively introduced the work of the exterior communication section and the details concerning the process of getting a visa to US.
At the meeting, Wanli students asked some questions like how to apply for a good university, how to quickly adjust to American society, how to apply for a short-term student visa and the like. The consuls patiently answered all the questions and provided constructive advices and suggestions to the students. At last, the directors of International Office of Wanli University discussed with the visitors about how to help students to know more about Chinese and American culture through more and more exchange programs.
