Recently, an announcement revealed that a team from Wanli University won the second prize in 2013 Renesas National Undergraduate Electronic Design Contest. In the preliminary of Zhejiang Division that finished in September 8th, 17 teams from the College of Electronic and Information got two first prize, two second prize and four third prize though fierce competition with other school teams. The teams winning first prize were recommended into the national semifinals.
This contest aims to cultivate college students’ innovation, basic skills, esprit de corps and the ability to combine theory and practice. Adhering to the principles of conforming to teaching practice and attaching importance to both fundamental and frontier knowledge, the contest prompts colleges and universities to foster undergraduates’ innovative consciousness and capacity as well as teamwork spirit.
