August 8th, Lu Ziyue, the Acting Mayor and Vice Party Secretary of Ningbo Municipal Government, came to visit Wanli University with some officials in Ningbo Government and Ningbo Education Bureau. Chen Juexiang, Executive President of Wanli University and the school authorities met the visiting guests and accompanied them to inspect “The Key Laboratory of Agricultural Processing in Ningbo” and “Priority Discipline in Zhejiang Province”.
Meanwhile, President Chen reported the university running conditions to the mayor, especially the new running model of Wanli as a public university. In addition, he also introduced the measures taken by Wanli in order to promote the university, serve the local economy and cultivate the talents. The Vice President Qian Guoying reported to the guests the conditions of the laboratory. After the meeting, the visiting guests went to the University of Nottingham-Ningbo, the first Sino-foreign University in China.
