The first aid training was offered on campus in the early June to strengthen the safety and first aid services and to disseminate the knowledge about health care and rescue skills in face of emergency and accident with 302 students participating in it. The training included the concept, the basics of the first aid, the knowledge and operation of CPR, the common bandaging, and other rescue skills in emergency and accident. Various teaching methods, such as, multimedia and a firsthand demonstration etc. are applied to make the students comprehend the training easier who all learned eagerly, cooperate closely and participate actively.
It is learned that several sessions of training have already been offered on campus, such as on the subject of infectious disease, the basics of the first aid and the actual operation of artificial respiration which enrich students’ first aid knowledge and increase their concern on safety.
