On May 18th, an intercollegiate exchange of youth volunteer representatives was held between UNNC (the University of Nottingham Ningbo China) and ZWU and nearly 20 representatives from UNNC came to share their volunteer experiences.
During the exchange, firstly an introduction was delivered about the volunteer activities held in recent years by both universities, sharing the achievements and suggesting the prospects. Then, the representatives had a heated discussion concerning five problems during the volunteer service, such as, the inconsistency in volunteer quality, work hour, the funds restriction, the leaders' incapability of youth association and how to expand the influence of youth associations.
All the representatives believed the exchange enhanced the cooperation between the youth associations in both universities by sharing the working experience and they discussed new ways and methods to develop the associations. It was the same name “Volunteer” they had that made them gather together to play a symphony specific to youths.
