After a 9-day live performance and competition, 2013 Zhejiang College Students Art Festival drew its curtain on November 10th in which the collective dance Wolf Totem and modern dance To Youth from ZWU captured the first prizes after tough contest.
The festival was held by Zhejiang Provincial Department of Education, Culture, and Finance, the Radio and Television Group of Zhejiang and Zhejiang Communist Youth League themed with “inheriting national soul, building Chinese dream”. It was divided into three units of artistic performance made of dance and drama, the display of community performance and Top 10 campus singers. More than 380 programs were sent for the festival from 66 universities and colleges in Zhejiang province and eventually 169 programs survived for the on-site performance. 6 programs from ZWU were selected according to the requirements since June 2013 and all of them entered the phase of live performance in October and November. These programs fully displayed ZWU students’ enterprising spirit, ideal and pursuit. The great achievements also demonstrated the success of the artistic education at ZWU.
