A 2-day publicity campaign of epidemic and infectious disease prevention was carried out since October 12th by the Red Cross on campus with 300 promotional materials handed out. And a careful sterilization was carried in the places once immersed in water.
2 or 3 days after a natural disaster usually is the prone period of the infectious disease and thus the Red Cross compiled a brochure of epidemic prevention to publicize the knowledge how to sterilize after the flood receded. For instance, it is sensible to do a thorough cleaning, not to eat any submerged food, and not to drink unclean water.
The campaign aimed to publicize the knowledge about how to prevent infectious diseases after the flood and those common infectious diseases in fall to enhance teachers’ and students’ awareness.
